    LOL, yeah it's a nuisance item but this has driven crazy ever since I returned to the game last Feb :D Now I can kill bosses without killing the tunes :rolleyes:

    Hey there @Dragonnns ,

    So sorry for that. They changed the way how Patch Notes will be announced and we were informed of it today.
    For that reason, Patch Notes will be available only after the update.

    Soon, tomorrow, you will be able to read it.
    So sorry for any inconvenience caused.


    Anyhow, R181 will have some bug fixes and Leaderboards improvements.

    I'll give you a hint since I saw them before they were taken down ;)

    There was the bugfix I quoted in my first post.
    Another bug fix to "certain" maps to keeps monsters from getting stuck.
    The rest were bugfixes to Leaderboards.

    That was all unless they add/delete anything when they get posted again.

    Oh and btw... My feedback regarding this change about when the notes are posted is that I do not like it. If there is a change to any game mechanics I (we) wil be going in blind the first time playing after a patch. I guess if the notes get posted immediately after the servers come back up it may not be as bad.

    Yes, Release 180 was skipped, once it had some minor features that were not important to the game currently. They were shifted.

    Of course that most people want to know in advance what's coming up to live servers, but we must/should follow the rules here.

    Oh come on, since the update with the leaderboards i can't play with party... It's like you promote the players to play alone, where's the fun in it? When will it be a count for the party runs? Still one Rel without party.

    Another ridiculous update that does not solve the basic problems of the game. Class balance ..pvp .. theme groups in pve ... developers away from the reality of the game

    Some additional feedback: Once again the devs have proven that testing and QA are nonexistent. They cannot release even the simplest and mundane of patches without creating major problems in the game. See my post here for details.

    And as usual these type of problems appear in the midst of a major event. Now I am faced with the probability of doing the remaining mini's with a lvl 47 DK with essentially no CHR and a loss of over 200 base damage. There goes my stash of red ess :eek:

    Personally I don't like this last updates.
    Until today I had never took part in a single player Q run ( from start to end ) .
    I know that could sound like a non constructive feedback but I want to say that :
    I'm one of those that consider that last updates as a waste of time.
    I cannnot provide a valid response to release 179 , 180 and 181 due to the fact that I still consider DSO as a mmorpg and not a single player game.

    The game is totally ruined with this new release(s).
    1. Destroyed/broken items
    2. 3rd party players can't access the game
    This is what they get when trying to access the game (my friend playing through Google)

    3. The arena is broken
    I got kicked out of the 6v6 arena most of the times
    I enter the arena ... waiting for the map to load ... and then suddenly the game kicks me back to town
    just like someone would kick you out from the group. No red icon for 15 minute penalty given.

    I press the button ...map is loading .... as soon as I get inside ... I am being returned to town
    then I can't register another fight because it says

    I need to reload the map so I can bypass this and then ... all over again....
    The only time it worked out is when I wait util the registration is almost gone (at 3-6 seconds before the screen is gone)

    4. When I log off (I was playing in browser) the game takes me to Home Page ... but then another window is opening ... like I am starting the game in client

    I had the same thing happen in 1v1 (getting a clover) as Trakilaki. I had one battle go through what should be have been a draw. Waited all that time, then got sent to town as if nothing had been happening. Had to register for the battle again.

    Oh ... and the "main improvement" in this release ... Leaderboards ... are broken :)

    Again, unmentioned in thy notes:
    - The unique sets/bonuses highlighting.
    - Gem slots. Now they work exactly as I imagined.

    And therefore the transparency issue with the release notes I already mentioned repeatedly. When functional changes are pushed thorough a release but not mentioned in the release notes is a problem of transparency towards the end users.
    Ultimately, when positive changes occur, they can actually give a positive feeling to us that "hey, this release actually gives us more fixes and stuff hence more work has been put into the release". Otherwise we get the feeling that not much is being developed between releases.

    On our project I know for instance we have discussions right now whether technical progress with no current functional impact should be specified in the release notes, and it is my belief that yes, it should be so.
    This gives the end users a feeling on the areas in which progress is being made towards extending the product and ultimately delivering new great functionalities to them.
    And it shouldn't be difficult to be pushed into the release notes if you already have a list of 'stories' or 'tasks' delivered in the sprint/release.

    I have plenty examples here, out of which I could mention two (one from each category):
    - When the Castle Ravencaw elite knights issue was fixed. Here, the knights previously were automatically activated instead of only when you attacked them or got in their vicinity. This was silently fixed in a release without being specified in the release notes.
    - When a release was done only with technical changes but nothing was specified until the end users requested an explanation as to why a new version is up. (I think it was R179?). There, only extra logging points had been introduced into the application to (I imagine) help traceability of issues and potential exploits.

    Not sure if this is what you are looking for but ever since last release I have a extremely difficult time logging on. When I run compatibility test it says that the " thinclient.exe" is incompatable with windows 7 . Played for over a year and never had issue before with same OS .

    Last night i oppened 62 cubes , crafted some arrows , gems (i remember simple cyanites). The cubes gave me 2 splint rubies and i started searching for another one on my stocks to combine them. When i clicked to unlock the gem i got dced. All good, i relog and what? My cubes were all there , not even sure about the gems since i was not really paying too much attention. I felt as if all i have done simply rolled back to previous stage. This release is by far the weirdest one. I never had such a problem like that in all my time playing this game. Connection was ok. Not sure , but it seems like the same thing when our group (5) were kicked at the same time at dragan map. Are DSO servers healthy? ;) That was REALLY serious.

    I thought I was the only one. What a great day for this problem to come, the only day I do pvp because I have clover :/
