Btw, if you can lvl to 46 without doing any main quests just farm the stillwater bay dungeon do any side quests there if u lvl to 46 without making any main quests in that dungeon this will save u a hard time for when u hit lvl 48.
Im now lvl 48 and got no quests just a bunch of side quests for a low exp reward

I do every quest. since most side quests are nearly the same as the main quest. or you can do these easily while doing the main quest.
That's an extra bonus exp and more anderssss. :p

That is because now there is Teleportarium normal mode ... in the past when level 45 was a cap level there was only a hard mode just like it is the case with Yolotl now.
Well that is because now you can take all the quest at once ... it is a relatively new change. While it is good in one hand it is also handicap in the other. That is the main reason why the players now are leveling much slower than they were in the past. In the past we could take maximum of 10 quests (pvp, event, main and side quests) ... that was very good for leveling because we had to play the same maps over and over again until we solve all of the quests. It is more fun leveling and killing mobs when you are occupied with solving quests. Now players can take all possible quests and solve them in one map run ... that means you can solve all the quests and still be lower level ... and you will have to grind for XP.
I remember when I was playing at TS for the first time I managed to get to level 50 ... yet I still had lot of quests to do.

Well im at Oceanus Opal shrine now and we still have to run that map a billion of times.

This place is really hard for me. I can only survive using blue essence or else i don't heal fast enough. Or i'll have to wait 1 minute between every fight for the cooldown of my 2 best abilities. These are my stats+items... i have alot of legendaries and i don't think my stats are the problem. I should probably get more crit hit rate o_O I can't do the icy place. Not even with blue essence. should probably get a group

Stuns demolish me aswell. i hated the atlantis snakes. couldnt move for 10-15 seconds sometimes.

Do you use MWS with heal? When you have 3-5 monsters around you, you should be able to heal for at least half your HP every three seconds. I only ask because I knew a DK who got all the way to 46 before I corrected him and it was a game changer for him. I have never met a 2H DK who couldn't solo in the level appropriate areas due to healing issues.

In areas with lots of monsters with stuns, make sure you adjust your skills to have both armor breaks and the temporary immunity from dragon hide.

Opal shrine is the most dificult dungeon bthose shamans are annoying. I cant imagine how hard that map is for a DK the other clases can stay away and kill them. And there are lot of quests in that map the other frost and fire maps are somehow ok since there are not so many mobs but still.
But u can get a party since there many players who want to kill mobs in those maps for a side quest find them and stick with them

Also if you are on Heredur server i can help you later tonight.

Yes I do use MWS. But it costs 50 rage (if you made it cheaper). and with 3 enemies around you it doesnt heal that much. 3 hits, a total of 2k dmg. 20% of 2k isnt 2.5k... And these shamans do pretty high dmg. When i can't run away because of 15 enemies blocking me, 4 shamans will shoot these green aura's doing 600 dmg per hit... So if i run out of rage its pretty much done. Unless i use blue essence because ill do more dmg and heal more by that. And the simple rangers running around there inflict 450 dmg. And the worst thing is that these shamans run away and they revive the warriors making it even harder to reach them. DK has a really big disadvantage in PvE. I'll try to get a group to play with.

The only really hard part is where a ''mini'' boss is together with 6 shamans 12 rangers and 20 warriors and i don't have banner of war...
Having warriors hit me is great for rage and theyre all crowded together so i can kill them all with 1-2 MWS's. but the rangers are spread and the shamans run even further away, killing them with MWS isnt a great option. so what does a warrior have left? Ground breaker with a cooldown of 10s to kill atleast 1 shaman and then he has to kill all rangers and shamans with smash or rageful swing.

I just re read what i said in my last post and its not impossible for me without blue
but let's say i die once every 20-30 minutes because i run in a fight with to many shamans and a mini boss that freezes me.

btw, when does that 8500 anders for 2 euros discount come back? i'd like some inv slots :)

EDIT: Just looked at the dmg of a ranger and warrior.... a warrior does 230-260 to me and a ranger 380-450, another disadvantage to DK

    --MERGED--

Okay ye... tried the icy map one last time. boss shamans freezing me by like 80% AND doing 1400 dmg by a hit. keeps reviving atleast 3 rangers doing another 1200 dmg together. Then there is this corrupted protector doing 5k dmg blast balls. Knives doing 2k dmg. And normal shamans shooting aura's doing 600-800 dmg. And like this wasn't hard enough, the boss shaman can put a big shield down making it nearly impossible to get health back with MWS.

A group is no choice because it seems i can't get in that map with any other players
that are farming for some kind of quest telling them to get 450 of something.

Im on Heredur. If there's an option to choose which icy place you want to go in you could help me... But so far i wasnt able to join the dungeon my group was in.

Yes you gonna have to finish the main quests in frost map. Cuz what u have now its just a bridge to the actual map and u have to kill all the mobs all they way up then unlock ur way to the temple.
Basically do some main quests in that map and you will unlock the whole map.
You can try to combine the fragments to get the key for the fire map that should be abit easier since mobs wont stun or freeze u.

what is ur ingame name ?

I entered Nahuatlan yesterday. Did some quests, died alot by scorpions stunning me and get killed in no time by Ressurected andermagic creatures. After some questing i wanted to farm some exp.
Since you told me that its great to farm in nathuatlan I put on a 100% extra exp scroll. got only 400k exp that hour... These ressurected andermagic creatures seem to give 0,0000 exp... While these are very common enemies in nahuatlan. Im probably better of farm in the Fire/Ice/Oceanus place.
Does anybody know why these creatures dont give any exp? Was there a bug or something?
I hope i can get more then 400k per hour somewhere.. because im not in the mood to farm around 30 hours with 30 exp scrolls.

Resurrected minions dont give any exp.
I followed what trakilaki said and i do get nice exp in that map with a full party .
Try to focus more on the bottom of the map where there are 2 guardians and a champion shaman all the time when they respawn.

This map is nice for exp bcz of how fast the mobs spawn in a dungeon u lose time walking into another group of mobs and that when u lose time on the exp buff and also try to avoid those andermagic mobs just kill the big octopus thig that summons them then run.
I just took a brake from farming there 2 hours made almost 2 boxes but i also have a pet that gives me exp who helps .

In general, resurrected creatures don't give any XP. You'll see this in the Eternal Watch when the Wolf raises the Gnomes as an example. Or in Crypt of Kings when the Necromancer raises an Archer.

Indeed ... resurrected mobs don't give XP.
You will need a group for Nahuatlan.
Then you can follow my instructions for the Hunter of Darkness achievement https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/andermagic-monster-or-creature.68797/#post-634728 .
You don't have to search the instances with those mini bosses but they are giving quite nice drop. This way you can collect: XP, gems, items, gold, andermant and doing the achievements in same time. Remember the good timing is key to success ... you don't want the monsters be killed by someone else outside your group ... with good timing and estimations you are always at that place when they respawn.

If it makes you feel better, I am a mechanic and even with blue essences, I die so often on this map and have to wait often to get my skills up. I have to move slowly and carefully, but it is all fun :)
The good thing is that I can use very little blues because my machine guns only need 8 essences each.

To regen 2500 HP, you need to do 12500 damage. Since monsters have 50% damage reduction and MWS is a 200% damage skill, these cancel out. That means that if your average damage is 1750, then you would need 7 monsters nearby to regen 2500, but that assumes 0% crit rate. Even if we only assume 15% crit, that means you'd be averagin 2275 damage per monster, so you would likely need 5-6 monsters to heal for 2500. You already pointed out that blues would make this even easier, and then you could likely heal that 2500 number from as little as 3 monsters.
Don't worry. There comes a point when you pass a point that it becomes really easy to survive. It isn't easy to define in terms or damage or HP or armor, but when you reach this point, DKs become one of the easier classes to play in PvE.
Don't let some people let you hear that. RA's actually have less base damage on their weapons, so that can't reach the same damages as a DK, SM, or SW. They end up having to rely on crit damage and crit to have comparable DPS.
The key to doing this part is managing your stuns and stun breaks. You have three attacks that can stun; Charge, Headbutt, or Ground breaker. Used right, these can interrupt a mini boss from casting their skill, like the armor bubble, or can give you time to close the gape and kill the shamans (charge both closes the gap and stuns, so double win). The other part is your stun breaks. Both Furious Battle Cry and Dragon Hide can break you out of stuns and Dragon Hide can keep you out of stuns for 8 seconds. Used right and timed well you can kill them before getting frozen again.
The last thing to share is the art of kiting. Pull monsters away from their support and your life gets a lot easier. If you pull 4-6 melee mobs away from the shamans, kill them, and wait for their bodies to disappears, the shamans can't res them. While developing a toon, charging into the fray and thinking you are going to kill everything is not always the wisest plan. Always fight on your terms, not theirs.

Did all quests i could and im lvl 47 1/2... seems like i have to farm 17 million exp... 34 hours of farming... seems like 34 days... i just can't farm exp longer than an hour a day because i get to bored... if i could earn some good gold and items it'd be nice. But in Lor'tac i have found only 1 set piece... Still hate how this game goes from great missions giving enough exp to no missions left now farm your brains out. I wonder how much we've to farm to get to lvl 55? 50 million exp? well... guess the PW has to wait.

Farm cradle of life with an experience scroll or book as a chane of pace from the other maps. Its easy to reset as well.

Gives 1.1million exp per hour.. would still take about 2 weeks. and i have enough anders for 2 single scrolls. they should make PW for lvl 45... It's not that great wasting your time for exp only... I want to play games for fun... not 2 weeks farming in your spare time and then the fun comes in.

Achievements should have a little reward to them and not just a title. I'll look at the achievements and see if some are interesting. Because the 1000 andermagic creature achievement is totally not a thing i would do for some achievement points only.

Can't wait for the next event... :p
