I don't understand why we have to click on Identify items when that is so old system. I was told you used to have to have items to identify them. So, if that item has been removed, why do we still have to identify them?

Also, if, in the future, if that is not an option to remove Identify Item, can we have at least a Identify All feature? That would save so much time and time. And saving my clicking finger to do other stuff. Thank you.

  2. It was left in the game as a way to help players distinguish between items they have already picked up and examined, and new items which they have only just picked up and not yet had a chance to look at.

Agreed, and I actually like it that way (especially when having clicked the new sort button "by accident"), but at times I would find that proposed "Identify all" feature very useful as well!
The question is being asked quite often. Maybe the idea of the identify-all-feature should be presented in the creative corner?

If it's to show what's a "new item" is, then why does it flash on the screen with a HUGE notification saying we got new equipment? I just don't see the point of having to click on each and individual piece of item to identify.

I at first had the reply everyone else did, that we need it to tell the difference between new items and items we have already seen. But if they changed it, it would take a little time getting used to it, but would save a lot of time, and a lot of clicks.

Could have an option to turn on/off auto identify in the settings menu.
