weapon stats

Hi guys
i have a charater name Desolat0r in Heredur. some days ago, i bought a Tayaz short bow. as you knew, it has 1,26 base atk speed and an addition of 20%. i watched a clip in youtube and found that if i take this bow on. my atk speed will be 1,46. but in fact it is just 1,26. some one please explain.

basically ranger's SHORTBOWS have a basic speed of 1,05. this weapon adds 20% and the 20% is not exactly 20. it will be like 20.0012453 some thing like that so it will be approximately ~ 1,26. that letters shown are one which is total u get from the wepon so its 1,26.

You got it wrong there.
The base attack speed for all short bows is 1.05 ... that 1,26 is not a base attack speed but total attack speed.
To make it more simple ... I made a small edit on this article http://drakensangonline.wikia.com/wiki/Tayaz_Totem_Shortbow and I added the base values.
We used to have base item values displayed for all items but the devs made them hidden on purpose. They want to confuse the new players .

 

No, it is exactly 20%, but it adds 20% of 1.05; it does not add 0.20 unless the weapon's base speed is 1.00 like a SW's wand or a DK's mace.

And, it just so happens that 20% of 1.05 is 0.21 and 1.05+0.21=(1.05)*(1.20)=1.26 exactly.

 

Your are right. (1+Speed enchantment)* base speed is what u get

Yes, and if it were a 2H with 0.83 base speed, the 20% would only be worth 0.166 attack speed and you would end up with 0.996 attack speed, which would display as 1.00. That is also why DKs with a 1H sword (base of 1.18) can hit speeds of 3.00 or more using knowledge points and some nice speed gems.
