How Do You Work the Test Server?

I just got on the test server, and I was wondering if you could get some large amount of Andermant or some currency on it, since it's the test server? I mean, it would seem that you would get 999999 Andermant or something on a Test Server. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I have barely any knowledge of the Test Server.

Unless you had an existing account at one or both of the 2 times in TS history that BP "gave" out Anders/Characters, Then chances are you will not get anything until the next time they do this, If there is a next time.
If you want to play/test on TS, you have to build your test character from scratch. If your nice and fall in with the right crowd, you might even get some help, but dont count on it.

There are also Active Testers and some Youtubers get Andermant, Gold, Draken for playing on the Testserver

 

Really??? Never heard of this or seen this either.... Been active on TS and was a very active tester/bug reporter for a while... never got a thing. Oh well .. good for them that did/do

BigPoint believes in the motto, "Why buy a cow, when milk is free." Why else let us give them feedback and suggestions without chance of compensation? Labs need test subjects, volunteers preferred.

A side issue is timing. Players get to sample the game and upcoming releases. That is good.
DSO gets to field test the changes and new releases with a mass of volunteers, a good representation of how the game performs and players react. That is good, too.
The irony is that BigPoint does not allow enough time to change flaws, before DSO releases it online. BigPoint tests it on their site, but they release it broken anyway. What's the big hurry? Saving money by only fixing the biggest problems?

Oh I see ... those random "youtubers" ... who are always getting all the rewards on twitch and the other contests ... just because the winners are picked up "randomly". You mean those "random youtubers" who always appear in BP's HQ's and having random test sessions. Ah now I see what you mean.
