I have playyed many, many games all the way through end game since I started on the internet almost 25 years ago. I have played many, many FTP games since they became popular after the LOTRO game model came out. Just as a background and to let you know I'm not some 10 year old whining about things here. I am 61 years old.

Let me get thngs straight in game. It costs thousands of adamant JUST to open a single tab of storage. You get NO extra spaces. You have to spend another 4000 adamant on EACH LINE of spaces in that tab. And you have to do that for each character you have. Is that pretty mush the gist of it?

That is absolutely absurd. If I buy adamant to buy a tab it should at least be a full tab of storage, not just to unlock the tab. Some games will give partial space on that tab, others give a full tab, and in a really GOOD FTP game they will give an extra full storage conttainer to each player for that price, or the price is actually reasonable.

Your prices for extra storage is rediculously high. So my suggestion, based on the other games I have played is that the company adjust their storage costs to at least be competitive with other games.

Good question, but on my point of view, this is really adequate.
Think of it this way, how many things do you really need in DSO?
What would you store in these inventory slots?
Mostly gear and some quest items, a potion stack, an essence stack, etc.
In the beginning, the first tab is quite enough. I have played to level 30 without opening my first row.
And even at level 43 my DK find three tabs quite enough to contain most of what I need and to have almost 2 empty tabs for collecting loot.

Yes, extra space is nice to have. But, expanding space with 7 slot rows and charging 4000 andermants for that is I think just fine.
What I think we mostly need is the ability to expand further by adding more tabs and of course with andermant payments for those expansions.
I can certainly believe that long time players as they accumulate more and more items would need to have more space for collections and other crap.

Sadly, U either have to quit the game or get used to it. Everything in this game requires at least twice the farming/money compared to all other F2Ps.
I can only say, be glad U joined AFTER they lowered the cost to 4k per row. A long time ago, the price would get higher with each opened row. Only heavy P2Ws had all 4 tabs at that time.

    GL!

BTW, at endgame U need every tab U can get for unused gear and Q6m2 farming ;)

well, its possible to get this andermands with fast farming. WE did 1h farming yesteday, everyone got around 1000 andermnds(i got 1120):) If u dont have time for farming and want everything free, then yeah, better u use your crdit card or leav the game. But if u play and farm ,you get this andermands fast.Just need to go to the right place, with the right people, and do the right farming:D

How do you get 1k ander per hour? I never get more than 150-250 ander for 2 maps in q3. And it takes me about 40 minutes to complete the 2 maps with a decent group

well,i think we do all maps in q3 with around 15-20 min.So in 1 hower its about 4 runs.We play only with guild. So its possible.

Get a good group/guild. If the group is built right such that you're getting a lot of double breaks, the maps can be fast. Something like 2 mages,2 dks, and a damage dealing sm or ranger can cut throgh the hardest maps with ease. Banner of war, singularity, iron brow, smash-smash-smash with damage dealing cuts the red circle minibosses down in seconds.

Yes I understand that with a good group I can clean the map much faster. However I don't understand why some people get 500-600 andermant from the 2 maps in q3 while others get under 100 consistently. I get about 150-250, sometimes I get under 100, sometimes over 200.

And yes I've noticed the best groups have mage + dwarf, it's a very strong combination.

well like anything people tend exaggerate to make themselves look better,ur stats r more realistic then theirs +1 4 being honest.
at the rate of drops which dont happen often enough, maybe 1 time in their so called hour i can see,but most of the day u play in much lower.
i play all day sometimes, but the ander drops are far what they r saying.
dso is nerfing daily, from gems to ess to ander.
i came out of crypts normal 1 run with 16 gems.
only believe what u see and half of what u hear.;)
because knowing is half the battle (GI JOE):D

I agree the costs for extra storage space are excessive, but that's just the way it is. I'd like to think they monitor how many people purchase extra space though and may look to lower the price if the take-up tails off.

That's how it works: get customers hooked with attractive initial offers, then once they're invested, start diminishing products/services and/or raise costs. Keep pushing the envelope to see how much customers will tolerate; renew attractive offers when sufficient dissatisfaction starts to affect the bottom line.

To paraphrase Mitt Romney: the purpose of business is to make money. Product/service is secondary.
