    I was buying a Journeyman wand to see what it would look like in comparison to my other wand, and I was going to throw it away when I accidentally threw out my Legendary Bone Staff,
    which was level 25... I was wondering if you could check and see if it is somewhere? It had two Simple Sapphire in it. Just hoping. I literally had a heart attack and jumped out of my chair after I threw it out.

    So the question is:
    Is there a way to retrieve thrown items? Please, please say yes!

    You should contact support and if this was recent, you would most likely get the item back, not sure about the gems though. I wish you success in getting your items back. ;)
