VOTE TO KICK inactive players

tired off people not playing in pvp? 5v5 6v6?
ive seen voting to kick players in other mmos,
what do you think?

 

I'll like to see more punishments of people who leave matches. Too many people are quitting after the first flag is caught. The 15 minute ban should apply to all toons on an account, and an honor penalty and reallocation could be considered (i.e., quitting members earned match honor points gets reallocated to staying members, and quitting member gets a 1000 honor point penalty)

 

That would be perfect, problem is the servers think folks that DC left the match and they get the penalty. Getting a 15 min penalty is frustrating enough when I DC, nuking my honor would be intolerable. They need to find a way to differentiate between leaving and freezing/DC and inactivity while still in game. The current inactive warning just reminds them to wiggle the mouse. Then we can impose something painful on the people flipping channels on the tube that aren't really playing and the guys that don't want another loss in their historic stat sheet.

 

I'm not sure about this. Say there are two high level teams going head-to-head, but on one team someone doesn't enter instead they get a lower rank player who may be a liability. The function could be abused to remove that player, depriving them of honour points and inflicting a penalty.
Just highlighting the potential for it to be negative.

BTW If a player is removed due to dc or intentionally leaving, there is no guarantee that they will be replaced, in fact most of the time the team stays at 4 players. So this perhaps won't be as effective as everyone would like it to be.

But yes, I know what you're saying OP it's incredibly annoying if someone just stands there. Often happens if they are matched up against their guild :/

 

How about this one...today my little level 10 DK faces off one of these twinks in 3v3 who is a level 7 DK with the Epic Mount Pig. We start fighting and the two players on his "team" do not move and offer up no defense to attacks. Of course he kills us with ease and then it dawned on me after the first round that he was using other accounts to stage fights for his main character. Is this not contrary to some DSO rule? What a steaming pile he is for doing so and all just to maintain his low level dominance to make him feel good about himself.

 

Fill out a ticket on support about what you saw. This will at least make you feel better.

 

I did and they have asked for proof (I did take print screens) date/time etc

I'm sure nothing will come of it but why these guys would do this for a game is beyond me. I magine how many new people encounter this and just give up on the game after being matched against him/her over and over.

 

I think its a bad idea to kick pleyers in pvp. People wold remove week pleyers from team for sure if they have change to kick.

Only thing that makes me angry right now is when im middle of the PVP and get server error,kickt out. This sucks that because of game have conection problem i need to be banned 15 min...

 

there is some kind of rule but very hard to prove it, because the 3 chars having same ip address is no proof . there could be 3 players living there all playing DSO like brothers and sisters.
