Getting Error Code 21

I can't login. It started after my group tried to enter Gorga hard. Been locked out since. Been trying to get back in for the last 15 minutes but I keep getting - no server available error code 21. I put in a ticket.

 

So I decided to check out the circus monstrum event map today but after using the portal the screen became black with a message that says:

No server available (error code 21)

Please BigPoint, how about next time you warn us about this because the portals are not cheap and also hard to come by... Not to mention I can no longer play my toon on Agathon...

 

I logged in tonight and tried to do some 1v1 but every time I get a match and I accept it I get:

No server available (error code 21)

The only way to get out of this is to hard shut down the game. Please fix this BP (btw this was on Agathon)

same with me too, error code 21 in Grimmag when trying to enter Iron Forest, either from Hognis Mine or via travel stone. more than few days now.
please, BP, this is not first time this happens. i know it's not easy to maintain functioning game but this is really getting annoying, and i really see less and less reason to pay for game (i like) that doesn't work more than it does work.

 

On Agathon server, I tried to get into Liar's Lair and got "Error code: 21". I will send in a support ticket and hopefully gets fixed as soon as possible. Now I've lost time on the event. :| It seems Agathon has a lot of issues.

Edit: Ok, I can get in now but the group bug is now back in effect. Now it'll be nearly impossible to finish if this keeps up.

 

Agathon server has gone CRAZY.
Dungeons are either bugged or players aren't able to get in, courtesy of the ERROR 21.
I couldn't get into Sigris Hard and Gorga today. Tried farming for the event at Sigris, error 21 popped out and I couldn't log in back for half an hour. Had to shut my browser down and use thinclient to get back into the game. Later tried entering Gorga while playing on the thin client and DANG!! Error 21 again. With these two maps haunted by Error 21, I lost an ENTIRE DAY of event.
Earlier, maps were fine but quit often, entire group used get disconnected while farming these bosses for event. Used to take 5-10 minutes to get back and continue farming for event. That had slowed down us from progressing in event and now this Error 21 made us lose one full day.
Many players couldn't get into CIRCUS MONSTRORUM because of this ERROR 21 and they lost the travel ration in doing so. Now that's INSANE
It takes so much of farming to get one pass to Circus and they had to lose it for NOTHING?
From what I see above in this thread, most of them are experiencing similar problems.
I really don't understand what use the TEST SERVER is of? This event began almost a month earlier in Test server and BG had so much time to clear the mess up before starting it in the Normal servers, but NO. They messed it up like every other event
I want these bugs and errors to be resolved as soon as possible AND we need COMPENSATION for the time we all lost due to these Errors and bugs. Extend the event by 2 to 3 days to compensate for all these crazy problems.

 

I'm on Agathon, too, when I'm actually on the game.

I can sympathize, but I can no longer empathize. I stopped doing anything more than logging in for my daily gem and box. Occasionally, I'll do a daily quest for a gold piece. (If it's an easy quest and I don't get game-killing errors during the attempt.) I don't even fight Khalys anymore. I'm basically retired from DSO. I'm playing other things now. (I did kill Kristoff enough times to get the red essences, but that was all I could stand of that snore-fest event.)

The way I see things: This game is 3+ years old. The life-support plug is loose in the wall socket. Someone will push the plug back in, sometimes, but no one is solving the problem of how to keep it tight. I wonder if the game will make it to the level-50 cap raise? I think it will, actually, but depending on how that expansion is received... It may not make it through the rest of the year. (IMHO.)

It seems that the "security guard" cares more for the game, than the actual dev team

As for all these problems....does anyone recall the last "DtU" event (exactly 1 year ago)??? it had the same issues!!!
The dev team, only past/copy last event with all the bugs!!!
The outcome was probably to force players to buy the "travel rations", instead of fixing the problem.

 

This is just nuts. Tonight we haven't been able to do any other boss other than Heraldo. Its Heraldo or we don't do the event cuz the other two bosses are messed up. How does that happen?!?!

Let me explain error 21 for everyone. I explain with useing the same error with Web browsing. I used to run a forum for a game. The game used a data base. MySQL was the name. I had a free hosting site for the data base. One time I got error 421 service unavailable. After much ado I found the problem. My free data base site was down for maintenance. So my Web page was up like Drakensang is up. But a hosting site not part of my Web hosting site was down.

So with this game and many others it creates the map on the server. For what ever reason that map is not actively running your character/toon is told by the game your there but in reality since that map is not active for the server you get error 21. If you keep trying to get on; it may keep the server updated that your still there and so prolong the time out. I suggest once you get error 21 set a timer for 16 mins and then log in once the timer has expired.

So, all error code 21's are a shortage of servers by DSO/Big Point? My Oh My. Those DDoS attacks must have access to their entire system. ( Or some manager is covering his behind with a load of hype. LOL)
