I can't complain. I have the snowman and the shadowboxing emotes from past events. Never paid a cent for the game so why the heck would I buy an emote that takes up inventory space? It's different when you actually earned an item.

I don't mind the snowman emote (it's very cute and festive) but the sound effects on the shadowboxing sounds ridiculous and I normally avoid using unless I'm in the dungeon area waiting for my mate when he goes AFK. I do have a festive gnome, fairy, and an essence spout. Sucks to be anyone if they can't tolerate their noises while I'm making a quick trip in town.

I have 9 different permanent emotes. I do love my emotes btw.....

But there are those who will buy them. either through draken or ander. Point is, when there use to be events there was a gain scale...sorta speak...Kinda like the moon events. Once you gain so much blood you make progress with different "prizes". It use to be you can get all sorts of stuff like emotes, mounts, pets, gear, etc through that progress. I guess that isn't gonna happen anymore.

Shame too. That's when I use to buy small ander packs.......on occasion anyway.

Ha ha ha, won't be me. I still don't believe in putting a cent in the game. As much as I love emotes/pets/mounts, I don't believe in having extra nifty items taking up my inventory/locker space if I can help it. It would be nice to have separate extra tabs that's dedicated just for emotes/pet/mounts without sacrificing overall inventory space, but that's just me.

But hey, I'm not going to say no if other people gift me with extra andermant, etc. :D

No, and which server? Most I've seen done was about 6-8 but totally out of sync. I've done it with up to two players in literal sync... in one instance, one person and I had it in sync over 3 dozen times (yes, sad enough to count) for over two hours of straight Riverdance.

If you get it EXACT that it sounds absolutely lovely with loud volume and zero echoes. Aside from that, I think Riverdance is the most tasteful unisex move out there. Moonwalk's also nice but it's usually sexier when a male character executes that move.

hahahaha yes it was in Resistance Command |Centre......Tegan server..after that event in past week, when I had seen the players line up. what a crowd gathered too, the group boss, or player with star let out 3 ...2...1.. in text box so all others could try to time the dance in about the same second. very fun to watch yes attractive river dance. that stuff took over when it came out. reminds me when I would go downtown to a cowboy dressup bar and club.. in my town, and ppl did the dance steps and all was a fun night club to party like that on a Friday night after work hours with buds..!

You do have permanent pets though. I got 2 ravens (7 days) and jumping jack o' sth (5% hp) which is permanent. Similar happened with costumes (got both 7 days and permanent).

I simply said I THINK they're gonna start doing that. Meaning, you might get a perm, but mostly it'll be temp.

What makes the emotes, mounts, costumes desirable for me is their rareness. I appreciate the old heads that have the rare emotes, and throw the ones out that everyone has. Spider mount is a good example of good gone bad, as is the shadow boxing, the last sargon event that thing dropped about 50%.

I wish they would stop recycling costumes and emotes. Let the people that participated in an event get it, then move on to a new one. Call it a badge of honor for earning it in that event.

The pet from the current event is a good example. That is going to be a rare pet because of the minimal Dragan Jr sightings. If I see a toon with that pet I know they earned it. But, next time/event it may be in a treasure chest as a standard reward and everyone will get it eliminating all the hard work someone put into this event.

Perhaps there will be new pets, to be honest i really wanted the pet from this event (not gremlin) and i went to that map several times and got it. Several guys from my clan also got it but it does not diminish it's value to me;)

That describes the pumpkin pet. I've had mine since it was first released and it was always a mark of pride... now everyone and their brother has it and the specialness is gone.

I used to feel this way too. One of my very old toons is my collector. I currently have 6 rows + 4 slots of costumes, pets, emotes and mounts from events and the odd freebies that were given away. I guesstimate that since I started if I had played every event, got everything available and had not thrown away some of the things I did not want, I would have a total of 10 rows (2 1/2 tabs) of this stuff.

This event has 8 items could be received. 3 costumes, 3 pets a mount and an emote. I already had the jumping Jack-O pet, hell mare mount and pumpkin head costume. Still I added 2 costumes and the raven pet to my collection (I did not get the permanent Prof. Julov's monster emote or batty gremlin on this toon.)

Anyway, this cat was let out of the bag long ago when Gnob started selling event costumes and emotes for Draken. At that time I made a similar post about my items loosing the, "been there, done that 'n got the T-shirt" quality.

These days I look at my collection with and eye to, "what should I toss?" I really do not mind if some newbie gets an item that I think is really cool. Hey, they earned it this time just like I earned it before. Good for them. Heck, these guys don't even know these items are recycled. The players I know that are still in the game from way back when know I was there

    Luck be with ye,
    Mikey,
    Tegan

p.s. Back to the original topic of this thread... tele in town does not bother me anywhere near as much as the laughing fit emote. Please delete this, maybe compensate those that have it w/ 50 draken or something

Lockers and inventory spaces need to be bigger, to hold the trophies.
More trophies make the older players more special, and may signal a seasoned veteran in a fight. It makes it easier for the vets to stick around too.

They need to adjust the cooldown of that annoying laughing fit to 5 mins minimum. It truly is the most annoying emote ever created.

Oh c'mon. That emote is awesome. Especially when a member in you group dies or whoop the crap outta someone in pvp :)

True, let the new people have their cake too. It's not fair that one of my pals who played this game under 90 days doesn't get the opportunity to earn a recycled event item or two. Not his fault for not discovering this game sooner. After all, he paid into this game; I'm an old snoozer who have yet to put a cent in, yet I have a small collection of stuff. Let those odds even out.

    ^emote idea in the making.

As long as people want to make noises and play annoying emotes, that is their prerogative. Let them enjoy the simple things in life. As far as teleporting in town, sometimes I will teleport in order to find a new instance if I feel alone and frightened.

Being the shy, introverted, solo player I am :) my sound is nearly always off. In fact, I didn't even know teleport made a noise. The rare time my sound is on the raven, which is my pet of choice nowadays, squawking causes my skin to crawl.
